Types And Characteristics Of Cosmetic Squeeze Tubes

At present, plastic cosmetic tube commonly used in cosmetic packaging are mainly composed of ABL cosmetic tubes and LDPE plastic cosmetic tubes, which can meet various needs of cosmetic packaging such as hygiene and blocking.
 

1. ABL Cosmetic Tube ( Aluminum-plastic Laminated Tube )

Aluminum-plastic laminated tube is aluminum foil, plastic film, which is made of sheet by pneumatic composite process, and then processed into a tubular packaging container by a special tube machine. The typical structure is PE/PE EAA/AL/PE EAA/PE. Aluminum-plastic cosmetic tubes are mainly used for packaging cosmetics with high hygiene and barrier properties. The barrier layer is generally aluminum foil, and its barrier properties depend on the pinhole degree of the aluminum foil. With the continuous improvement of technology, the thickness of the aluminum foil shielding layer of the aluminum-plastic cosmetic tube has been reduced from the original 40m to 12m or even 9m, which greatly saves resources.

Aluminum-plastic cosmetic tube has the following advantages during use:

(1) High barrier properties, aluminum foil has barrier properties, resistivity, water resistance and other blocking properties, preventing external substances from intruding into the interior of cosmetics, preventing oxidative deterioration of cosmetics, and preventing ingredients such as moisture or essence in cosmetics from diffusing to the outside through the hose, thereby Guarantee the quality of cosmetics.

(2) Low cost. To achieve the same blocking performance, aluminum-plastic cosmetic tubes offer less material, lower cost, and less economy than PBL plastic cosmetic tubes and LDPE plastic co-extruded laminated tubes.
 

2. LDPE Plastic Cosmetic Tubes

LDPE cosmetic tubes are all plastic components, which are divided into two-layer plastic cosmetic tubes and five-layer cosmetic tubes. Two-layer plastic cosmetic tubes are often used for common skin care products and personal care products, for example: facial cleanser, face cream, eye cream, hand cream, shampoo, shower gel and so on. The five-layer plastic cosmetic tube is usually used for sensitive cosmetics and skin care products, for example: foundation, BB cream, Sunscreen and so on. The structure of plastic barrier of five-layer cosmetic tube is PE/PE/EVOH/PE/PE.

The advantages of LDPE plastic cosmetic tubes include:

(1) Environmental protection. Compared with the aluminum-plastic cosmetic tubes, the LDPE cosmetic tube uses economical and easy-to-recycle LDPE material, which reduces the environmental pollution caused by packaging waste. 

(2) There are various colors. According to the characteristics of cosmetics and consumer demand, the LDPE plastic cosmetic tube is made of colorless transparent, colored transparent, opaque and other colors, which can bring strong visual enjoyment to consumers. In particular, the transparent plastic cosmetic squeeze tubes can clearly see the color state of the contents, giving a strong visual impact and greatly promoting consumers' desire to buy.

(3) Good resilience: Compared with the aluminum-plastic cosmetic tubes, the LDPE plastic tube has good resilience.
